1. About the Courses

Who are these courses suitable for?

These courses are designed for professionals, key decision-makers, and aspiring entrepreneurs in the Food Services, eCommerce, or Retail sectors. They are particularly valuable for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) looking to strengthen foundational skills in data analytics, digital marketing, leadership and communication. These skills help stabilise the business and prepare it for growth.

Additionally, the courses are ideal for SMEs already in growth stage, aiming to reskill your in-house talent with foundational skills that will futureproof your teams from the ground up.

Specific learning outcomes and entry requirements can also be found on the respective course pages.

Are the courses suitable for non-Food Services use cases?

The courses have been designed and curated with Food Services use cases and for the Food Services sector. They are also highly relevant for Retail and eCommerce sectors, or companies which fall into more than one of these categories.

Are these courses WSQ-certified? Will certificates be issued for course completion?

These courses are non-Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ)-certified. However, there will be a Certificate of Completion for learners who achieve at least 75% attendance and pass all required assessments, where applicable.

A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to learners who meet 75% attendance only.

What is the training mode and venue?

All courses will be classroom-facilitated (face-to-face) and conducted at Ngee Ann Polytechnic premises, except in the event of an exclusive class conducted at your preferred venue.

2. Course Intakes

What is the standard application timeline? When will my course application be confirmed?

Applications open at least one month before the course start date(s).

Once you have submitted interest in the respective course page(s), you will be notified of the next steps to apply through the Skills Training and Enhancement Portal (STEP) via email and/or WhatsApp within 5 working days. You will then need to complete your application on the STEP portal by the stated deadline.

After applications close, you will receive course confirmation and details at least 3 working days before the course start date(s) via email.

In the meantime, we recommend that you block off your schedule in preparation for the classes.

When will the next intake be? Will there be more intakes?

All intakes are currently listed on our respective course pages.

For companies looking to form a class size of 16 or more, we would also be able to conduct an exclusive intake for you in the school or at your preferred venue.
