Programmes & Requirements

1. What are the flexible learning options available?

For the Diploma and English Language Programmes, LSBF offers great flexibility, with options for face-to-face, online live sessions, and recorded classes.

  • Face-to-Face: 100% on campus. Attendance is taken into consideration.
  • Blended: The class schedule consists of either 70% on campus and 30% online live broadcast, or 50% on campus and 50% online live broadcast. Students are required to follow the schedule or timetable.
  • 100% Online Live Broadcast (Synchronous mode, in sync with the timetable): Learners will follow the class schedule, attending online classes at the specified day and time. This does not refer to watching pre-recorded videos. Attendance is tracked, with the lecturer providing a code to scan for attendance.

 

(For Degree programmes, there is no "fully-online" option available at the moment.)

2. What is the minimum requirement to apply for the Diploma programmes?

You will need to complete at least 11 years of education with a min. N Level or NITEC.

3. I am interested in the Degree programme. Will I be able to go directly to Final-Year entry?

LSBF welcomes applications from individuals who can demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to study, as well as relevant life/work experience that equips them to succeed in the course.

 

The admissions team will assess the information provided in your application, including your personal statement, to determine your eligibility for the course.

 

Based on the learner’s relevant experience and qualifications, admissions will decide whether Year 2 Entry or Final-Year Entry is appropriate for each individual.

4. Is it mandatory for learners to have their own laptop?

It is not mandatory for students to have their own laptop. LSBF has a computer lab at the their campus, and computers are available for students to use.

Course Fee & Funding 

1. Can I use my SkillsFuture Credit to pay for the course fees?

These programmes are not eligible for SkillsFuture subsidy nor the SkillsFuture Credits. 

Grab partners who need financial support may opt for a 0% interest monthly instalment from LSBF, or apply a loan from Grab Partner Cash Advance. (T&Cs apply) 

2. Can I pay in installment?

Yes, you may choose to pay upfront in full, or you may choose to pay in monthly  instalments at 0% interest.

1. Are the career support services free for enrolled students?

Yes! All LSBF career support services — including workshops, 1-to-1 guidance sessions, and career talks — are free for enrolled students. Their goal is to help you get the most out of your learning experience and feel confident in your career journey.

2. How do I sign up for the LSBF Career Support Activities?

It’s simple! Keep an eye on your student email and the campus' notice board — LSBF regularly sends out invitations and registration links for upcoming workshops and talks. You can also contact the Career Services Office directly if you’d like to register in advance.

3. What topics are covered in the Career Guidance Workshops?

LSBF’s four-part workshop series is designed to equip you with practical career skills:

  1. Resume Writing – Present your experience effectively.
  2. Creating a LinkedIn Profile – Build a strong professional presence online.
  3. Job Search Strategy – Learn how to find the right opportunities.
  4. Preparing for Job Interviews – Gain confidence and make a great impression.

 

These sessions are interactive and tailored to support both new job seekers and working professionals.

4. How do I book a 1-to-1 Career Guidance Session, and what can I expect during the session?

You can book your session by emailing or visiting the LSBF Career Services Office. Each session lasts about an hour and gives you personalised support — from resume review and interview preparation to career advice and self-marketing tips. LSBF career coaches are here to help you take the next step with clarity and confidence.

5. What industries are covered under the Industry Attachment opportunities, and how do I apply?

The Industry Attachment (IA) is a key feature of LSBF's Hospitality and Logistics programmes. LSBF partners with over 70 companies that actively provide students with real-world experience — helping you “get one foot in the door” and build valuable industry connections. LSBF Career Services team will guide you through the application and matching process when you’re ready to begin your attachment.

6. Will LSBF help me find a job after completing the programme?

While job placement isn’t guaranteed, both LSBF and GrabAcademy provide comprehensive career support — from networking opportunities and employer talks to access to Grab’s career resources and placement tools. We’re committed to helping you strengthen your professional profile and confidently take the next step in your career journey.
