GrabAcademy has been awarded the Gold Award for the SkillsFuture Employer Awards 2024. Presented by the President of the Republic of Singapore, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, the SkillsFuture Employer Awards honour exemplary organisations that champion employees’ skills development and build a lifelong learning culture at the workplace.

This accolade affirms Grab's commitment to drive economic empowerment across Southeast Asia by fostering a culture of continuous learning, benefiting not only its employees but also its driver-, delivery-, and merchant-partners, through its flagship initiative, GrabAcademy.

GrabAcademy plays a pivotal role in equipping driver- and delivery-partners with skills that extend beyond their primary roles. By offering training in areas such as data analytics, marketing and supply chain management, GrabAcademy is opening doors to new opportunities and broader futures. A testament to this initiative is Anson Lau, a Grab delivery-partner who attended a career facilitation workshop at GrabAcademy. With the team's assistance in refining his CV and interview skills, Lau secured a position as a parts executive at BYD within six months.

Furthermore, being appointed as SkillsFuture Queen Bee, Grab has collaborated closely with F&B merchants and SMEs, ensuring they stay abreast of industry developments. Over the past two years, GrabAcademy has supported more than 400 employees from over 150 F&B businesses, offering courses in digital marketing, leadership, and more.

This Gold Award is a collective achievement, reflecting the collaborative efforts of Grab's driver-, delivery-, and merchant-partners, along with the invaluable support from various industry partners and institutions. As GrabAcademy continues to drive forward, the future looks promising for the continued growth and development of its community.
