Course Description

This course aims to provide learners with a good understanding of roles & functions of warehousing & its major inbound & outbound processes, pick processes and order-pick methods, storage systems and handling equipment, stock management, warehouse design, layout alternatives, warehouse costings and pricing, knowledge to determine storage needs, managing stocks levels & control stockholding costs. It also includes issues of health, safety and the environment in warehouse operations.

Certification
  • On passing the module’s online examination, candidates will be awarded an e-Certificate of Completion issued jointly by Temasek Polytechnic and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILTS).
  • Candidates will be awarded a Professional Certificate in Supply Chain Professional Development Programme by CILTS on passing SCPD modules 01 to 04.

This course is suitable for any Grab partners who are interested to upskill their capability for career growth in the area of logistics and supply chain.

 

Entry Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE ‘A’ level certificate and two years of working experience in the logistics and supply chain industry. (Those who do not meet the minimum requirements above are still welcomed to apply. Admission may be considered on a case-by-case basis.)

 

Supporting Documents Required:

  • For Singapore citizens & PRs, a copy of your NRIC / ID card (front & back)
  • For foreigners, a copy of your work permit (front & back) or your passport (personal particulars page)

 

How to apply:

  1. Submit interest via the PGSS Course Selection Form 
  2. Register with Temasek Poly via the online application portal (link will be provided in the PGSS form).

 

Important:

  • To be eligible for PGSS points, you must key in GRABAC” as the referral code when applying with Temasek Poly via the STEP Portal. Failure to key in the correct referral code will result in ineligibility of PGSS points disbursement.
